Inspiration.
We all descend from completely different backgrounds, our influences can range from parents all the way to our great second removed cousins.
This is Gary, he's my brother in-law. We've definitely influenced each other over the past 26 years that i've been on this planet.
Music, art, cars, lifestyles, clothing style anything you want we've done it together! I wouldn't say I had a terrible childhood, there was a few things that created barriers for any person never mind a child, looking up to someone in your early years is probably the most natural thing and I can guarantee everyone reading this had that one person who they followed like a lost dog.
Gary was that figure for me, he was always down for adventures always laughing an passing me a beer, which definitely helped my views on him! Everything was new and exciting even just a drive to the local spar shop I'd beg him to take me in his Land Rover and play music I'd never heard before (it makes me laugh just writing this how geeky I was) eventually we started going on weekends away camping and off road trips! As a young dude that shit was mind blowing fun, cooking our own breakfasts enjoying beers in the sun and BBQ'S later at night is every boys dream.
I wouldn't be the guy I am today if it wasn't for this man, well there was others but I'd give this guy a definite 90% of the doubt he pretty much raised me, taught me and most of all influenced me to become the art loving creative I am.
Waking up today seeing him around helping fix my house up was just an inspiration to finally show my love and respect for him, clearly in my format of choice. Photography.
Massive love to all the Gaz figures out there, who are helping the young minds of today to become something they may never have become without a helping shove in the rite direction.
My aim in life is to one day be the Gaz figure I know so well, sharing my knowledge and inspirations with someone who I know will grow and again share this love.
Thanks Gaz.
