Last of the Wonder Kids.
There is nothing better then when a Sunday turns into a unexpected but inspirational evening!
Even if I did wake up with a SLIGHT headache.
I've known these guys over the years through either parties, nights out and general social scenes, I love them all they're super friendly always happy to chat away but best of all they invited me to shoot their first band work.
Obviously we cracked beers, I assumed my position behind the drums quickly realising 'this isn't my band!' onto the camera I went, short adventures onto the rooftops of a broken down Grimsby shop, lead to a very messy walk back to the warmth and more beers.
Then it began.
I've never been so content and comfortable, not with my camera for the first time but with the 3 people around me. These guys an gal really have it, I spend everyday with musicians or listening to music and buying music just to find the next influences.
Well, Last of the Wonder Kids definitely opened my eyes and heart to the hope that this towns music scene is still alive, running rich with vibes of the Desert, Santa Monica days and heavy psych tones hopefully that can wake up at least some of this town!
As they say 'And the rest is history' well thats bullshit in my eyes, Last of the Wonder Kids are about to be a part of your futures.

Don't be to cool for something new in a dying town!
